Fine Art students and staff - the first meeting of the Super8Society will be in Room 225 (aka 231 and 232) in Central House, 2pm Wednesday October 4th. This meeting will include a screening of some of this summers more noteable Super 8 initiatives and I will set out the terms for becoming a bona fide University society. This will enable us to apply for funding to buy materials, arrange for guest speakers and organise a few visits elsewhere.
This semesters programme will include workshops in using and processing various filmstocks, buying and using secondhand equipment, cameraless filmmaking, as well as regular screenings of student work.
